Completion of the First Series of Training Modules

The first series of training modules of our European project has successfully concluded, marking an important milestone in the development of our international research training activities.

Over the past weeks, the programme brought together up to 30 students from partner institutions including Kozminski University, ZHAW School of Management and Law, the University of Barcelona, and the University of Montpellier. The sessions provided participants with an opportunity to engage in an international academic environment and strengthen key research skills essential for early-stage researchers.

The training series addressed several core aspects of the research process:

  • Developing a compelling research question: This session explored how to formulate strong research questions and how research can generate meaningful contributions for both academia and practice.
  • Scientific Information and Research Dissemination: Participants were introduced to major scientific information systems and academic dissemination practices. The module focused on identifying relevant research, researchers, and journals in business and related disciplines.
  • Good Research Practices: This seminar addressed key issues related to research ethics and integrity, highlighting the principles that underpin responsible and transparent scientific work.
  • AI-assisted Systematic Literature Review for PhD: This module provided a practical overview of systematic literature review (SLR) approaches and demonstrated how AI tools can support each stage of the review process while maintaining transparency and methodological rigor.

These sessions were designed to equip participants with methodological tools, critical thinking skills, and a strong understanding of responsible research practices.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to the professors who contributed to this training series: Prof. Dr. Moog Petra, Doriana Nicoară-Popescu, Josep Maria Argiles Bosh, Jean-Marie Courrent, Dominika Wojtowicz and Svetlana Gudkova, whose expertise and engagement made these sessions possible.

This first training cycle represents the beginning of a broader programme of activities aimed at supporting master’s students and strengthening international academic collaboration within the project.
